Terms of Use
These terms describe the intended use of RenovationWise, a renovation planning and decision-support service.
1. Use of the service
You may use RenovationWise to organise renovation assumptions, compare planning ranges, analyse contractor quote information and prepare questions for further professional review. You remain responsible for checking measurements, specifications, permits, taxes, VAT treatment, structural requirements, contractor terms and current local prices.
2. Cost information
Cost ranges may come from published evidence, supplier observations, local market sources or clearly labelled planning assumptions. They can become outdated and may differ because of location, access, specification, labour availability, project condition, quantities, taxes and inclusions. A result outside a planning band is not by itself proof that a contractor is overcharging or undercharging.
3. Quotes and contractors
Quote analysis is document and scope analysis. It does not verify workmanship, licensing, insurance, reputation, solvency or contractual performance of any contractor.
4. Paid products
Where paid products are offered, the price, access period and scope shown before checkout apply to that purchase. Renovation Check and Quote Check currently provide 7 days of project access; Decision Pack provides 14 days. Pro is recurring and remains available while the subscription is active and in good standing. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Access to a paid report or feature does not turn RenovationWise into a professional construction or financial service.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the service useful and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every source, benchmark or feature will always be available.
6. Changes
We may improve the service, data sources, pricing and features over time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page before they apply to new purchases where required.
